Women Into Business Young Person’s Guarantee Information Session
About this event
Are you an employer who would like to benefit from
• Gaining earlier access to future talent
• Having a skilled workforce for now and in the future
• Improve staff engagement and retention
Then join us at our first face to face Women into Business event for 18 months, sponsored by Developing Young Workforce Forth Valley.
DYW Forth Valley will explain why local businesses are key to making a difference in a young person’s life by giving them an opportunity to get education, experience and employment. By signing up to the Young Person’s Guarantee, a Scottish Government commitment to support the nations young people after the pandemic, bringing sector skills into the classroom, taking on work experience, offering apprenticeships or being a mentor, you could be doing your part in helping young people get back on track after a tough year for recruitment, employability and training. Get the recognition your business deserves through your YPG commitment.
There will also be an overview by Alison Davidson of the various Clacks Council’s initiatives to help both youngsters and businesses and we will hear from some local businesses as to why they got involved and what they have done to help.
The event will take place on Tuesday September 21st from 12 noon until 2pm at the Alloa Business Centre. Registration is from 11:45am and tickets to the event are free thanks to DYW! Lunch will be served and there will be networking opportunities at the end of the event.
Register now for this month’s Women into Business and find out how helping with the Young Person’s Guarantee could benefit you and your business.
