High Performing Teams
High performance teams are interdependent, stable, have defined roles who share responsibility, have mutual trust and values and a clear focus on common goals. They also need strong leadership.
Knowing the characteristics of a highly effective team gives you, as a leader, a goal to shoot for as you work with teams and the ability to identify gaps where the team may need work. Knowing your goal is so important.
To paraphrase the Cheshire Cat: “if you don’t know where you’re going, then any road will get you there.”
