Stewart recently retired as Regional MD, from Edrington after 27 years in the Scotch whisky industry.
Leading a team of 500 people and a £250m turnover business, he was responsible for leading Scotch
whisky brands such as The Macallan, Highland Park and The Famous Grouse across Europe, Middle
East, India and Africa.
An entrepreneurial and inclusive leader with extensive board experience, Stewart brings a breadth
of cultural perspectives, diversity of thought and a passion for building great teams.
Stewart is also a trustee of the Edrington pension scheme and a Board Advisor to The Cabrach
Distillery and CD Corp Ltd. He is also a mentor at Our Whisky Foundation, a member of the Institute
of Export and a Keeper of the Quaich.
Stewart enjoys hillwalking, golf, music and football. He lives in Bishopbriggs with his partner Jacquie
and has two grown up children.
